The 2019 Mazda CX-9 crossover delivers sporty handling, a fuel-efficient powertrain, and user-friendly technology. Let the experienced sales team at Premier Mazda of Kansas City show you why Car and Driver named the 2019 Mazda CX-9 the 2019 Best Mid-Size SUV*.

Powering the Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, and Signature trims is a SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine teamed with a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift and Sport mode. The powertrain makes 227-hp and 310 lb-ft of torque and earns an EPA-estimated 28 mpg on the Overland Park highways and 22 mpg in Lee’s Summit with a standard front-wheel drivetrain. For optimal traction, i-ACTIV AWD® comes standard on the Signature trim and is optional with the other trim levels. The Mazda CX-9 is a great family carrier, and also has the capability to tow up to 3,500 pounds.

Comfort and Convenience

The quiet cabin in the Mazda CX-9 is designed with three rows and space to fit up to 7 passengers comfortably. Also standard are two USB ports and a three-zone automatic climate control system to ensure each row’s passengers stay content. If you are interested in stepping up your level of comfort, you can opt for Nappa leather-trimmed seats, heated and ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Plus, a power moonroof with a sunshade and a power liftgate are available.
