PERFORMANCE

2019 MAZDA3 HATCHBACK

Power for the 2019 Mazda3 Hatchback is provided from a 2.5-liter Skyactiv®-G DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine mated to a Skyactiv®-Drive 6-speed automatic transmission with sport mode. With standard front-wheel drive, 186-hp and 186 lb-ft of torque are generated, and the estimated fuel economy is 35 mpg on the Kansas City highways and 26 mpg of city driving through Belton, De Soto, and Olathe. Optional are a 6-speed manual transmission and, for the first time on our Mazda3 model, all-wheel drive for an enhanced grip on more challenging surfaces.

2019 TOYOTA COROLLA HATCHBACK

A 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder Dynamic Force engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a front-wheel drivetrain come standard on the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback. This base powertrain produces 168-hp and 155 lb-ft of torque and earns an estimated 37 mpg of highway driving and 28 mpg in the city. Sport driving mode and a Dynamic Shift-CVT automatic transmission are optional.
