Performance

A Skyactiv®-G 186-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is paired with a Skyactiv®-Drive six-speed automatic transmission with sport mode and a front-wheel drivetrain to power the 2019 Mazda3 sedan. This powertrain earns an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 35 mpg on the Missouri highways and 26 mpg driving through the city streets of Overland Park, Independence, Grandview, and Olathe. The i-Activ AWD® all-wheel-drive system is optional.

Base Model

For added comfort and convenience, cloth-trimmed sport seats, a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, and remote keyless entry come standard in the 2019 Mazda3 base model. Standard technology consists of a 7.0-inch multi-information display, a Mazda Connect™ infotainment system with an 8.8-inch infotainment display, voice command, Bluetooth®, HD Radio™, Pandora® integration, two USB ports, and an eight-speaker sound system. A rearview camera, an advanced airbag system, dynamic stability control with a traction control system, brake assist, an anti-lock brake system with electronic force distribution, and whiplash-reducing front seat headrests are standard safety features.

Select Package

Leatherette-trimmed seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear selector, dual-zone automatic climate control, a keyless entry and start system, and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility are added features in the Select package. Also, side mirrors with integrated turn signals, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a driver attention monitor, lane keeping assist, and a blind spot monitoring system with rear cross traffic alert are part of this upgraded package.

Preferred Package

In addition to the previously listed package features, the Preferred package adds an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, SiriusXM® satellite radio, and a twelve-speaker Bose® premium audio system with Centerpoint® 2 and AudioPilot® 2.

Premium Package

If you prefer a more dynamic drive with paddle shifters, leather sport seats, a power sliding glass moonroof, an active driving display, and added visibility with an adaptive front lighting system, you’ll want to opt for the Premium package.
