The 2019 Mazda CX-9 is available in four trims; Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, and Signature. Powered by a SKYACTIV-G® 2.5T four-cylinder turbocharged engine teamed with a six-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel drivetrain, the CX-9 generates up to 250-hp and 310 lb-ft of torque and earns an EPA-estimated 28 mpg highway and 22 mpg city. All-wheel drive is optional on each of the trims, but AWD comes standard on the Signature grade.

2019 Toyota Highlander

The 2019 Toyota Highlander is offered in LE, LE Plus, XLE, SE, Limited, and Limited Platinum trims. The LE trim is equipped with a 185-hp 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with a front-wheel drivetrain which achieves an estimated 24 mpg highway and 20 mpg city. The higher grades are powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission which produces 295-hp and 263 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive comes standard, with the option for an all-wheel drivetrain.

The CX-9 cabin has three rows which can accommodate up to seven passengers and includes 60/40 split fold-down and reclining second-row seats with tilt and slide third-row access. The third-row has a 50/50 split-folding feature allowing for more flexible packing options. Nappa leather-trimmed seats, heated and ventilated front seats, a power moonroof, power liftgate, keyless entry, and push-button start are available.

The standard MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment system utilizes a 7-inch full-color touchscreen, voice command, Aha™, Pandora®, and Stitcher™ radio integration, two USB ports, and a premium audio system with six speakers. An upgraded 8-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility, navigation, SiriusXM® satellite radio, SiriusXM® Travel Link, and a 12-speaker Bose® Centerpoint® 2 surround sound system with AudioPilot® 2 are available.

The interior of the three-row Highlander integrates 60/40 split-folding, sliding and reclining second-row seats and 60/40 split-folding third-row seats and can fit up to eight. Leather-trimmed seats with a heated and ventilated front-row, second-row captain’s chairs, panoramic moonroof, and a smart key system are optional.

The included Entune™ Audio system incorporates a 6.1-inch touchscreen, advanced voice recognition, Bluetooth®, Siri® Eyes Free, five USB ports, and a six-speaker audio system.
