The 2019 CX-9 is powered using SKYACTIV® TECHNOLOGY by a 250-hp, 310 lb.-ft. of torque 2.5-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. This engine powers all four available trims; Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, and Signature and achieves 0-60 mph in 7.1 seconds. The standard front-wheel drivetrain delivers an estimated EPA rating of 28 mpg on the highway and 22 mpg in the city. The available all-wheel drive earns 26 mph highway and 20 mpg city.
