i-ACTIVSENSE® Technology

Mazda offers various safety technologies in its vehicles to help improve the driver’s visibility and awareness of the road and to help monitor nearby traffic conditions. Included is blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert which helps detect objects in your blind spot and warns you of approaching vehicles from the side when backing up. Smart brake support helps detect vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists in your path and if necessary, will apply the brakes to prevent a collision. Lane departure warning and lane-keeping assist identify the lane markings on the road and notify you of unintentional lane departures and can implement minor steering corrections to help prevent you from exiting the lane.

Radar cruise control with stop & go automatically controls the vehicle’s speed maintaining a specific distance to the car ahead and can stop your Mazda if necessary. Your vehicle's lighting system can play an impact on your safety. High beam control automatically regulates your high and low beams allowing you to see better at night while adjusting when it senses oncoming traffic. Also, the adaptable front lighting system helps you see around corners at night by pivoting the headlights in the direction of your turn. One of the newest technologies is driver attention alert, which observes your steering and lane position to identify driver fatigue or distracted driving.

Mazda is committed to safety and therefore incorporates i-ACTIVSENSE® features on all of their new vehicle models. Let the knowledgeable staff at Premier Mazda of Kansas City help you discover the model that best suits your wants and needs.
